Telegram alerts for your client sites
Monday morning's email comes too late if the site has been down since Saturday. On Telegram, alerts reach the phone of whoever is on call, in a private chat or the team's group.
Alert emails get lost among the others.
Anyone looking after many sites gets dozens of emails a day. A critical alert that arrives in the evening gets read the next morning, after the client has called.
A team Telegram group solves two things: everyone sees the alert, and you can see who is already on it.
How to link a chat.
Create the link
In Settings > Telegram, create a linking link. It is valid for 60 minutes and works once.
Open the bot
Open the link on your phone, or add the bot to your team's group. There is one bot for the whole platform.
Choose what to receive
For each chat choose warnings and critical, or critical only. "Send test" checks that it arrives.

Can critical alerts go to one person and the rest to the group?
Yes. Each chat has its own setting: for example the group gets warnings and critical, the on-call phone critical only.
