Who we are

This website

This website has no forms: you sign up on the SitePing platform. Our servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, date, requested page) for security.

Your SitePing account

For the account we store the name and email address of each user, the agency name, the password as a hash, the two-factor secret encrypted, alert contacts and settings, and an activity log with logins, IP addresses and sensitive actions. Payments go through Stripe as merchant of record: Stripe receives the card details, and we receive the plan, the country and the status of the payment.

Your sites' data

The data of the sites an agency connects (site users, security events, files, backups) is processed for the agency, under the data processing agreement in our terms. For that data the agency is the controller.

Why

To provide the service you signed up for (legal basis: contract), to protect it (legal basis: legitimate interest), to keep accounting records (legal basis: legal obligation), and to send product news if you asked for them (legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw in every email). We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who receives it

The companies that host and run parts of the service, listed on the sub-processors page, some of them outside the EU with the safeguards described there, and Stripe for payments.

How long

Account data while the account is open and up to 60 days after it closes; the activity log 365 days; accounting records for as long as Italian law requires (10 years). Technical logs for 30 days at most.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies and no third-party trackers. Fonts come from our own servers. The SitePing dashboard sets only the technical cookies needed for the login session and form protection.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to its processing, withdraw consent at any time and complain to your data protection authority (in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Write to privacy@siteping.it.
