Accessibility of your client sites, measured with Lighthouse

An updated theme or a new cookie banner can strip labels from fields or lower contrast. With the European Accessibility Act, many clients ask you to keep an eye on it.

Accessibility gets worse with every change, and nobody notices.

A site checked at launch doesn't stay accessible by itself. Plugins, content and theme updates change the page code every month.

A full audit of every site costs too much. An automatic check doesn't replace the audit, but it tells you when something changed.

What we measure.

  1. Lighthouse on the home page

Along with performance, best practices and SEO, we record the Lighthouse accessibility score, which uses axe-core.

  2. Failed checks

We list them heaviest first, with the affected page elements for each.

  3. New problems only

If a check that passed last time now fails, you get an alert in the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is it enough to declare the site compliant?

No. A high Lighthouse score doesn't certify compliance with WCAG or the European Accessibility Act. It shows you straight away when an update makes things worse.

Do I need the plugin?

No, the measurement runs from our servers on the site's URL.
